 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
 ½ cup chicken broth
 1 tsp chili pepper paste
 1 tsp soy sauce
 1 tbsp cold water
 1 tbsp cornstarch

Mix above ingredients except water and cornstarch. In a separate small bowl, mix cold water and cornstarch to form a paste and then add other ingredients. Add as sauce to stir-fry dish.
